DUBIA ROACHES

The dubia roaches are high quality and are fed with a variety of vegetables and fruits. The Blaptica dubia is a species native to Central and South America. It is one of best known cockroaches and is used by breeders and lovers of reptiles due to it's high protein content, low amount of fat and it's good portion of calcium.

RED RUNNER ROACHES

Cockroach runners can not climb smooth surfaces, like glass, and they are prolific. Two great advantages for those who raise their own live food. Nutritionally they provide a high level of protein and a low level of fat being ideal to feed reptiles such as geckos, bearded dragons, chameleons, spinners and arachnids. LOBSTER ROACHES

Lobster cockroaches area medium sized, winged species that may be the easiest species to work with and breed. They are relatively common, inexpensive and very interesting additions to any collection. As well as great food items for reptiles, large tarantulas and large centipedes. They have a rather soft exoskeletonand like many other roach species these possess wings.

MADAGASCAN ROACHES

This is one of the largest species of cockroaches, reaching 2-3 inches at maturity. It is one of 20 known species, many of which are kept as pets and are often confused with each other by pet dealers. You can feed these to your reptiles, fish, spiders, amphibians and birds. These don't bite, smell or make any noise. These have the highest meat to shell ratio which means they are more nutritious for your pet.

PORCELLIO PRUINOSUS

These are the richest mineral of food that Dubia Paul offers. In proportion to glucides, lipids and proteins, they are very balanced and are also very rich in calcium and other minerals. Which is what makes these such good feeders. Their shell is made from calcium carbonate ans isn't chittinas in insects. As terresstrial crustaceans the have a mineralised exoskeleton and contain high levels of Ca, Mg, Na, Fe and Cu. They are a high source of calcium,protein, iron, magnesium, sodium and vitamins B1, B2 and B3.

SILKWORMS

According to many, silkworms are naturally the healthiest insect you can feed to yourpet. You just can't beat the low fat contentand high nutritional content of a silk worm. They are a high source of calcium, protein, iron, magnesium, sodium and vitamins B1, B2 and B3.

MEAL WORMS

Mealworms are the larvae of the Tenbro Molitar beetle and these make extremely popular feeders for birds, lizards and other exotic animals. They are rich in protein and are easy to store.

WAX WORMS

Wax worms are a great treat in a reptile's or amphibian's diet They are very high in fat and we recommend 1-2 a week. They are the perfect size for juvenile dragons, leopard geckos, larger tarantula,juvenile basiliks and some larger frogs such as a horned frog.

LOCUSTS

These live locusts are a favourite meal for many lizards and are excellent live reptile food as they are chunky and wholesome and they can provide a staple diet for many of the larger reptiles. They are a very popular feed for various lizard including bearded dragons, leopard geckos, frogs and water dragons. By choosing to feed your reptile live foods such as these locusts. You will be promoting a natural hunting, stalking and waiting behaviour from your reptile which keeps him/her active and occupied and is more accustomed to in the wild.Locusts have some of the best nutritional value and this is down to the high vegetable gut content of this insect making them perfect for your pet.

FRUIT FLIES

This species is very popular amongst breeders of amphibians, chameleons and many other types of insect eating lizards. As with the larger species they contain a good balance as the flies feed on sugars and yeasts so the freshly fed fly will contain simple carbohydrates and B vitamins.

EARTH WORMS

Small worms are an excellent food for pet reptiles. The worms are a species called dendrobaena which are very wriggly. They are also extremely sensitive to light which makes them squirm, making them look appeasing to your animal.

PRICKLY PEAR

It is a plant that grows in a warm climates and forms clusters. Opuntia is very nutritious with many minerals, vitamins and essential trace elements and high water content and it contains a high amount of calcium. Prickly pear pads are a great natural food for a range of species such as a bearded dragon, iguanas, chameleons, uromastyx and many more. You can chop it up and put it with your salad.
