There are terrestrial, arboreal, burrowing.
The terrestrial tarantulas need floor space, arboreal like to climb and burrowing like to live under their substrate.

INDIAN ORNAMENTAL

This species originates from Southeastern India. These are an arboreal species and they like to live in holes of tall trees where they produce asymmetric funnel webs. This species have banded legs but they have yellow patches on their front legs. These can be seriously fast and could potentially be aggressive.

PINK TOE TARANTULA

This species gets its name from the pink tips on the end of their legs. Their pink toes can also spread faecal matter when they feel threatened. Also, when they feel scared or threatened they can jump out of your hands and flick their hairs at you. They rely on their large size to subdue their prey.

ORANGE BABOON TARANTULA

This is not a good species for beginners and is only recommended for people with extensive prior experience with tarantulas that are poisonous. This tarantula is very defensive and will bite upon instant when provoked. This species originates from Eastern Africa and will grow up to 6 inches in size. The males will live for around 6-8 years but a femal will live for up to 8-12.

MEXICAN RED LEG

This species is one of the most ideal tarantula for beginners as they are most docile and calm species that is in the pet trade. They are slow moving tarantulas and if they aren't stressed then they can be handled regularly without you being bitten.  They grow to have around 5-6 inch leg span. Males usually live to be five years old.  Females may live up to twenty years.
